WORD: ‘Finding Favour with God’

God not only interacts with Nations and Kingdoms; He is also a very personal God. The Bible is full of stories about different people interacting with God on a personal level. Isn’t it amazing, that Our God who created the Universe…the God who has the whole world in His hands, also knows exactly who you are; where you are; what you are up to; and why? Today, I want to remind you, God knows your story. He knew all about the grief in Eve’s heart when she realised both her sons were gone from her forever. Nevertheless, God caused her to be ‘fruitful’ yet again and she bore another son and called him Seth, (Genesis 4:25). God was there with Leah: Leah was fully aware that she wasn’t Jacob’s choice for a wife and thus, she was left feeling like an ‘after-thought’; a ‘second-hand’ wife; rejected; unwanted; and unloved.
