Extraordinary Conception & Extravagant manifestation

 

Sarah & Elizabeth Genesis 21: 1-2 & Hebrews 11: 11 & Luke 1: 57-64

Today, many of us question things that we know have been spoken in and over lives or that we have even heard spoken from within by the very Spirit of God. These scriptures remind us that, ‘with God,nothing is impossible’.

 

These two women received favour in their old age to conceive and give birth. Sarah laughed when, in her old age she heard the angel prophesy that she would be with child. She questioned the possibility! She later gave birth to the promise…Isaac.

 

Elizabeth ‘s husband Zechariah, was struck dumb when he doubted the prophetic word, that his wife would also have a child in her old age. The return of his speech only came back to him after the manifestation of the word and his agreeing that the child would be called John.

 

These two accounts, remind us that although we may see our own situation as being hopeless and long past the opportune time, God is able to do what seems impossible in our own eyes!

 

Remember, if He spoke it, then it surely will come to pass.
