Theme Text: John 8:6-8
‘The Scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery, saying such should be stoned. So, Jesus said to them, “He who is without sin, let him first cast the stone”. And again, He stooped down and wrote in the ground’.

Theme Word: ‘The Writing In The Sand’
It is God’s intention to boast over you. God’s Word over you is assured, certain and guaranteed for its fulfilment. Woman of God, as the tears run down your face, God has a Word for you. Man of God, as you sit there not knowing what next to do, God has a ‘Now Word’ just for you. When it seems like it is all over, watch Jesus turn up with just one touch, with just one Word written on the ground, and life begins again.

If you are feeling unproductive; if you are labelled as lifeless; if your world is just falling apart, if you are having to say ‘goodbye’ to so many people dear to your heart: Look again, God has a Word just for you. Maybe you have stopped counting the many times you’ve passed through the ‘Valley of Bacca’, also known as the ‘Valley of Tears’, (Ps. 84:5-7). Maybe this is where you are right now. However, God is stooping down, to inscribe in the ground your victory plan. Hallelujah.

Let me tell you what these stories in Scripture do for me, people of God: They give me hope. You may be feeling wretched, worthless, pointless, at the bottom of the pile, unproductive, unappreciated, invisible, ignored, misunderstood, and without value. Maybe everything surrounding you has turned to dust, and all those beautiful dreams you once had has trickled through your fingers like sand. God is speaking to you right now. Not married? God is speaking to you. Your body is not functioning as it should? God is speaking to you. Feeling alone? God is speaking to you. Children causing trouble, God is coming after you. Saved, but feeling like a sinner? God is speaking to you. Set free, but still feeling bound? God is speaking to you.

God is saying, ‘your life is not over… it’s just beginning’. Yes, you have been through the fire, but it did not destroy you; rather, your God allowed it to work in your favour. Yes, you heard God right: He is going to ensure that you receive payback, repay and plus-pay, for all the damages the enemy caused. I’m talking about, refund, reimbursement, remuneration and compensation. In Jesus’ Name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
– The cemetery will not take our dreams, our creative ideas, our gifts, or talents.
– Today, I transform my ‘Valley of Bacca’ into a ‘Spring of Living Water’.
– Today, I declare that it’s not over. I have been through the storm; I have been through the fire: But the Lord has enabled me to say: ‘Yet I Rise’.
– People of God, I sense and declare a change within our atmosphere. Father, You want us to know that ‘This Too Shall Pass’.
– Today, we will receive ‘payback, backpay, and repay’. This is our season to plunder.
– Father, we come with expectation, thanking You in advance for our refund, repayment, reimbursement, remuneration and compensation. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
