And It Came To Pass – Day 5
If you are reading this word today, and you feel that you are in a crisis, the Lord wants you to know that ‘It Shall Come To Pass’. The Lord will bring you through and ‘It Will Be Well’. Some of you are no longer in your own homes, you may not be in your own country, or with your own people. Perhaps you have shed many tears, but if you have to cry, then cry, but remember this, ‘It Will Come To Pass’, the storm will pass over. The Lord will enable you to be fruitful in the land of your affliction. (Genesis 41:52). Some of you may have been waiting patiently and obediently for a place to call home, some of you may be waiting for companionship, for financial security, or for a stable life for your children. The Lord wants you to know that the Prophet Samuel is on his way, and he will not sit down until your name is called.
You may be facing a Red Sea crisis. There appears to be no going forward, and behind you there is pharaoh with his army of horses and Chariots. Be reminded that the Lord is your way-maker… watch Him clear a path before you. You may be in a crippling situation: backache, joint pain, headache, abdominal disorders, blood disease, organ malfunctions, undiagnosed sicknesses, but God is saying, just like job, your latter end will be greater than your former, just don’t give up. In psalms 30:5, we are reminded that, ‘Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning’. Hence our night season is surely worth the joy of tomorrow. Let us refuse to allow the crisis to rob us of our joy, and our breakthrough.
People of God, there is a different sound that flows out from a person who has endured the process. The sound from the prison is different to the sound from a palace. In Acts 12, we read that Herod placed Peter in prison to gain popularity, his sound was that of hatred and rivalry. However, ‘prayer was made without ceasing of the Church for Peter’ and in the midnight season, Peter’s chains fell off. Today, I declare that you will hear the sound of chains breaking and iron doors opening. Your worship will flow like oil from a crushed olive and like wine from a pressed grapevine.
Both the ‘Woman with the issue’ and ‘Jairus’ daughter’ faced death. Death has a way of killing the ‘flesh’… Until we do not care about the price of our worship, about who is watching us worship, about what we look like during worship, or what they may be thinking about our worship. All we want is to touch Jesus, and our lives will never be the same again.
