Prophetic Word (Acts 12vs12-13 Day 8)
Every situation allowed by God carries a prophetic blessing. The God that selected you for ‘a testing’, is the same God that will also appoint you for ‘a blessing’. That is the paradoxical nature of ‘trials’: For your trials to release its true objective, it has to serve its full purpose. Trials can be likened to an onion, for you to experience its full flavour, it must be unravelled and chopped open. The process will often cause your eyes to cry, but the aroma is distinctively exceptional. Job was selected for a period of testing. However, his latter end was so much greater than his former, (Job 42:12-17). So, do not move from that door, you are about to hear the sound of ‘knocking’. ‘Your patience at the door must be fulfilled… so that you can be perfect and entire (completely whole), lacking nothing’ (James 1:4).
People of God, know this, you will not emerge to an empty, favourless, fruitless promise. The Lord has promised that, like Eve, He will make you fruitful again (Gen 4:25); Like Miriam, you will dance again (Ex 15:20-25); Like Sarah, you will laugh again; Like the daughters of Zelophehad, you will own land again (Numbers 27:1-7); Like Ruth, you will marry again (Ruth 4:13-17); Like the ‘Woman with the issue’, you will walk in health again (Luke 8:43-48); like Jairus’ daughter, you will live again (Luke 8:41-56); And like Rhoda, you will witness your ‘open doors’ again. Today, God is reminding His People that He is sticking to His side of the Covenant Agreement. God’s Covenant is not determined by what you bring to the table, but by His own abundant, and excessive supply of Grace, lavishly poured out for you and me. People of God, just get under the canopy of God’s Grace and let Him drench you with His favour. Remind yourself, I am called, appointed, and anointed for this season, to ‘unlock gates and open doors’, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
