WORD: ‘Open The Door’
Acts 12vs12-13 Day 14
The term ‘unqualified’, can also mean, unsuitable; inadequate, unfit, lacking, and incomplete. The pain of feeling unqualified or just ‘not-good-enough’ runs very deep, and often starts way before the collapse of a person’s social identity. Low ‘self-worth’ can start in the womb, where the pregnancy was unplanned and unwanted. Such a pregnancy is then carried in disappointment, dejection, discontent, shame, and fear. These negative emotions have the capacity to affect the babies in the womb. If these ‘spirits of worthlessness’ are not spiritually recognised and terminated, they will endeavour to follow our children into their teenage lives.
People of God, If you are wondering why, you or your children are failing to thrive, check what spirits are influencing and hindering their progress, it may just be a ‘spirit of ‘unworth’. These are lying spirits that has been able to gain access into the thought life, it then becomes embedded within the soil of the soul. It is this lying spirit that causes us to feel as if we are just ‘not-good-enough’, and thus, unqualified for our assigned position.
Today, God is going to put us right. We are coming to God with nothing in our hands. We are bringing nothing to the table except our false standards, disappointments, fear, pain, and rejection. Only God can fix us. Jesus simply says, ‘Behold I stand at the door and knock’. JUST OPEN THE DOOR AND LET HIM IN.
Today, I declare that a strong east wind is about to blow. It will begin to stir up an atmosphere of resilience and courage in the face of all these enemies. Our dreams, our visions, our destinies, will no longer submit to the dominating, manipulating, controlling lie perpetuated by the enemy. The voice of the enemy will no longer dictate to us. The enemy will no longer prevent us from entering into our promise. Today we will arise, listen for the knock, respond to the call and receive our promise. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
