Fast of Tabernacle (SUKKOT)

TABERNACLES FAST 2025, PRAYER HOST BRIEFING

Greetings,

We’re entering the sacred season of our third and final feast fast for 2025, “Tabernacles” or “Sukkot”. It’ll run from September 7th to October 26th, under the theme: “RENEW.”

The key scripture verse for this fast is Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV): “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

This verse speaks to us in this season of Open Door. Renewal comes as we wait on the Lord, entwining our hearts with His, and receiving divine strength for the journey ahead.

Understanding Tabernacles:
Tabernacles is the last of the three major biblical feasts, celebrated after the harvest. It marks great joy in God’s presence. It commemorates Israel’s wilderness journey, when the Lord dwelt among His people in temporary shelters. Spiritually, it points to the ultimate fulfilment of God’s Kingdom, when His dwelling will be with humanity forever.

Tabernacles is a prophetic picture of:
1. God’s dwelling – not just visiting, but abiding with His people.
2. Completion and fullness – bringing the yearly cycle of God’s appointed feasts to fulfilment.
3. Kingdom alignment – preparing the house in order for the next season.
4. Glory and joy – celebrating God’s presence and faithfulness.

Renew means a Spirit-led reset, refreshing, strengthening, and aligning us for what lies beyond God’s “Open Door”.

Seven Weekly Themes – Tabernacles Fast 2025 (Renew)

Week 1 (7–13 Sept): “Renewed Covenant of Holiness “– ‘Returning to the Dwelling Place’
We consecrate and re-establish covenant purity, like Israel before the glory. We renew the altar of worship and holiness to host God’s presence.
(Psalm 51:10; Exodus 40:33–35)

Week 2 (14–20 Sept): “Renewed Alignment”– ‘Order Before Outpouring’
Before the glory, everything was set in place according to God’s pattern. Renewal requires alignment in doctrine, worship, and relationships. This leads to sustained habitation, not just visitation. (1 Kings 8:10–11; Amos 9:11–12)

Week 3 (21–27 Sept): “Renewed Identity”– ‘Priests and Kings in the House of God’
Tabernacles reveals our royal priesthood identity. Renewal restores strength and identity, called to minister before the Lord and rule under His authority.
(1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 5:10)

Week 4 (28 Sept–4 Oct): “Renewed Authority”– ‘Standing in the Gate’
The open door is a spiritual gate. This week focuses on taking our place in prayer and spiritual authority, legislating heaven’s will on earth, and refusing entry to the enemy’s schemes. (Isaiah 22:22; Matthew 16:19)

Week 5 (5–11 Oct): “Renewed Glory”– ‘From the Former to the Latter House.’
The Feast of Tabernacles foreshadows the outpouring of latter glory. Renewal shifts us from past experiences to a fresh manifestation of God’s presence that transforms lives and nations. (Haggai 2:9; 2 Corinthians 3:18)

Week 6 (12–18 Oct): “Renewed Commission”– ‘Sent Through the Open Door.’
Renewed in covenant, alignment, identity, and authority, we step through the open door into our God-given assignments, carrying grace and favour for kingdom impact. (John 20:21; Revelation 3:8)

Week 7 (19–25 Oct): “Renewed Habitation”– ‘Dwelling with God Forever.’
The climax of Tabernacles is God’s promise: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.”
Renewal is sealed in His continual presence, where His kingdom reigns without end. (Revelation 21:3–4; Psalm 27:4)

Day 50 (Sunday, 26 Oct): “The Sound of Jubilee”– ‘Thanksgiving for Freedom,Restoration, and Open Doors.’
On this final day, we lift a prophetic shout of thanksgiving for every door God has opened, for the release of His favour, and for the restoration of all that has been lost. This is our Jubilee sound, a declaration that the season ahead is one of freedom, favour, and fullness. We end the fast not in silence but in the victorious sound of praise that marks the opening of a new chapter. Leviticus 25:10, “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants.”

I’m excited for God’s work in this season of “Renewal” and “Open Door”. If you have any questions, contact me.

With God’s richest blessings and prayerful thoughts,
Pastor Nadia
