THE-WRITING-IN-THE-SAND-DAY-6

Theme Text: John 3:8
‘The Scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery, Jesus said to them, “He who is without sin, let him first cast the stone”. And He stooped down and wrote in the ground’ .

Today’s Text: Mark 5:22–42.
‘Then came Jairus seeking Jesus, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death: Jesus took the damsel by the hand, saying, Talitha Cumi, meaning, Daughter, I say unto you Arise’

Theme Word: ‘Sitting In The Waiting Room’
Do you feel as if you have been put ‘on-hold’, or maybe you are sitting in the waiting room? That is how Jairus may have felt. Jairus came to Jesus in desperation because his daughter was ‘at the point of death’. Jesus was heading to Jairus’s home when someone else stepped in ahead of him. Jairus had several reasons to be upset, he turned up first, and his daughter was about to die. Suddenly, Jairus heard the dreaded news he was trying to avoid, ‘Don’t bother the Master, your daughter is dead’. All your effort: the praying, the fasting, all-night vigils, the sowing, and prophetic words… But it is still too late. However, God is not controlled by human understanding, science, or our natural environment. In the Beginning it was God who created all things and said, ‘Let there be… and there was’. The same God is now saying to Jairus, ‘Don’t be afraid. Only believe’.

Jesus arrives at Jairus’s house amidst much crying, travailing, weeping, and confusion. Jesus tell them that the child is not dead – just sleeping. The people who were just mourning now begin to laugh… so Jesus puts them all out. Jesus then takes the girl by the hand and says, ‘Talitha Cumi’, which means, ‘Baby-Girl, Get Up’. Immediately, the girl gets up and starts to walk.

I’m here to declare that ‘It’s Your Time: Get Up’. Jesus is coming to your house. Do not listen to false reports. Do not be swayed by negative information. Allow Jesus to remove all that is fake around you: fake crying, fake counsel, fake attachments and acquaintances. What Jesus is about to do does not require a crowd, just a few genuine people who have travailed with you in difficult seasons.

Today, the Lord is sending out a call to His sons and daughters, you have been in Moab, that place of famine, too long. The Lord is calling His people back to Bethlehem-Judah, meaning: House of Bread and House of Praise. Hallelujah. The Lord says to send a call to My people in Moab, tell them that it is time to return. Like Naomi, you have experienced much loss but learn the parable of the fig tree in Matthew 24:32-35. When you see this tree put out its young shoots and its leaves begin to sprout, know that summer is near.

Yes, you have been in a place of famine, but summer is coming. The Lord says you fled because you felt let down, disappointed, devalued, misunderstood, depleted, impoverished, and undernourished. However, you must discern the sound of harvest, the fig tree is about to blossom, and the flock is returning to the fold. As Naomi arose to return to her country, so the Lord is sending out a call to His sons and daughters. We serve a God of Covenant, His Covenant Promise He will never break. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
– Father, give us insight, hindsight, and foresight to discern the season.
– Today, like Jairus’s Daughter, our time has come to Arise.
– Father, drive out all the ‘mourners’ from our bed chamber. Death is not our portion.
– Father, gather Your sons and daughters from far. Take them out of the land of Moab.
– Bring Your redeemed back to Zion with everlasting joy upon their heads.
– Spread Your table before them, let Your people be satisfied.
– The Mouth of the Lord has spoken it. Amen.
