THE WRITING IN THE SAND DAY 1

Dear Daughters,

Well, it’s that time of year again. We have less than two weeks or 12 days before we meet face to face. Prior to the event, we would like to invite you to engage in a period of praying (and fasting, if possible). We have compiled a prayer journal, with prayer pointers. Hopefully, this will bring inspiration, as you take part in this season of prayer.

Our Text for Talitha Cumi 2026 Conference is John 8:3-8

‘The Scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery… saying that according to the Law, such should be stoned. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground. They continued to ask, so Jesus said to them, “He who is without sin, let him first cast the stone”. And again, He stooped down and wrote in the ground’.

Our Theme: ‘The Writing In The Sand’
The Bible is full of stories about different people interacting with God on a personal level. Isn’t it amazing, that our God who created the Universe, the God who has the whole world in His hands, also knows exactly who you are and where you’re at. God knows your story, every single detail. In Psalms 139:13, David wrote, ‘You know me inside and out… every bit… I’m like an open book. You have watched me grow, from conception to birth: Every part of my life is spread out before you like a manuscript.

There are occasions in our lives when things became ‘all messed up’. Times when we made wrong choices, bad decisions, mingled with the wrong crowd, feasted from unhealthy tables, and made sacrifices to unholy altars. Our story is not all pleasant, and there are parts we would prefer not to remember. Can you imagine being ‘caught in adultery?’ Can you remember anything that bad happening to you? That is not a good story to remember!

We do not know what Jesus wrote in the ground. Yet, what was written caused her accusers to disappear one by one. Most importantly, whatever was written changed the trajectory of her life permanently. Scripture tells us that they left but she stayed.

Our stories have the capacity to derail, immobilize, obstruct, or even crush our life purpose. Is your story causing you to function below your potential? Well, God specializes in taking our mess and turning it into a message. God knows how to realign our purpose with His promise. God did it for this ‘accused’ woman and He will do the same for you.

Prophetic Prayer
– Heavenly Father, Hollowed be Your Name.
– My destiny will not be aborted in the wilderness.
– My purpose will not be terminated in the ‘back-side’ of the desert.
– I hear the Lord declaring, ‘Talitha Cumi’: My daughter, ‘Arise’.
– I hear the Lord saying, ‘Lazarus come out of your tomb’. Hence, I will not stay confined in this ‘dead man’s grave’. I am coming out, in Jesus’ Name.
– Today, I will arise better, not bitter.
– I will end my season victoriously and I will finish my course.

Our Mission Statement is: Lifting, Healing, and Restoring Women to Fulfil their Maximum Potential.
