Sarred but not Discarded Day 6

Sarred but not Discarded Day 6We cannot predict God or direct Him about how He ought to speak. There is a ‘Now Word’, a ‘Prophetic Word’ for the season you are in. The Hebrew word for this type of prophecy is ‘Naba’: It means to discern, speak or declare what the Lord is saying about your present and future life. The Lord will use many ways to covey what He is saying, including trials, just to get our attention. Sometimes the ‘acts of God’ does not seem to make sense at all in our eyes. Yet if we should listen to Him, despite not fully understanding, we would see many signs and wonders. So, like David we cry out, ‘As the deer pants for the water, so my soul pants for You, oh God. My soul thirst for You, for the Living God’. When we approach God with such expectation and anticipation, it creates an atmosphere for the amazing.

People of God, it is unconventional of us to be using David as our starting point for this year’s journal. However, The Lord has something He wants us to know about the rudiments of life’s early stages. David appeared to have been conceived in the ‘womb of brokenness’. David may have already tasted the saltiness of his mother’s tears even before birth. Perhaps as he fed from his mother side, tears of hurt, pain, disappointment, and rejection flowed down her face unto his. Such sorrow has a way of seeping into the DNA of the soul. ‘Tears of sorrow’ are like the ‘tares or weeds’ sown amongst good seed, (Matt 13:24-30). These weeds become entwined around the pure seed within the heart. How does God detangle and remove the pain that has been engrained over the years? God is able. Psalms 4:3 tells us that ‘The Lord has set you apart for Himself; and He will hear when you call unto Him’.

To be told that God has ‘set you apart for Himself’, demonstrates that you have been carefully selected to be in ‘Covenant Relationship’ with Yahweh. It carries a similar sound to that found in Genesis 22:17, where God declares to Abraham, ‘Surely, in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply you…And your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies’. (see Heb.6:13). It is the type of blessing that can only be described as an overflowing, overwhelming, all consuming, exponential kind of ‘Extravagant Favour’. Perhaps your ancestral background may not be linked to King David. Possibly, you descended from a lineage of, lack, deficit, and ‘just enough’. Today, that can change. We can choose not to be swayed by the reasonings, views, or opinions of people. Just get yourself ready, God does not disappoint, God does not fail, and at no time will God cause His people to feel mediocre, second-rate, cheap or obsolete… Our God will never do that. Check out His theme Word for you in Jeremiah 30:17, ‘I will restore health to you. I will heal you of all your wounds… You shall be mine, and I will be Your God’. And the people of God say, Amen.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
– I will fear not…For I have found favour with God.
– I shall conceive in my womb, for with My God, nothing is impossible.
– Father, through Your Son you have erased all my flawed past record; transformed my foolish life’s choices; covered my family history; and healed my imperfect present reality. Thank You Jesus.
– I am not eliminated. God has seen me, heard me, called me, and chosen me. Therefore, I am not ‘less than’. In Jesus’ Name
– Father, Your Word takes president, ‘I Will Bring Forth’ in Jesus’ Name.
– God’s Word will manifest through me…Today, my ‘conception’ will leap. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
