The Topic for this Prayer Journal is: ‘Scarred but not Discarded’. The Text is taken from, Jeremiah 30:17 ‘I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of all your wounds’. Ez. 16:6. ‘I (the Lord) saw you and I said, ‘live’… yes, I saw you dying and shouted, ‘live’. Your Father wants you to know that though you may be ‘Scarred’, you are not ‘Discarded’. The Lord is going to turn your ‘Broken Piece Into His Masterpiece’. The Lord is going to use your ‘Messed Up Story For His Glory’. I see the Lord taking us into a place of healing. The Lord gave me a vision of His people moving from the ‘Accident and Emergency Room’. I then saw some people in the ‘Assessment Room’. I saw some in the ‘Operating Room’, and some are in the ‘Recovery Room’. The Lord wants us to know that He is getting us fit and ready for ‘Discharge’. Saints of God, do not be afraid of the process, we have the best Physician, the best Healer, and the best Surgeon with us. The Lord has promised to ‘Restore health to you, to heal you of all your wounds… you will no longer be called an outcast’, (Jer. 30:17). Get yourself ready, for the Lord to use your story for His Glory. Hence His Word, ‘Scarred But Not Discarded’.
Remember, The Lord died to break the stranglehold of disgrace. Therefore, we declare, ‘No More Shame’. Furthermore, what the enemy meant for evil, the Lord will turn it around for our good. Our wounds will heal to become history… it is our scars will tell our story: Our scars must not condemn… They must testify. People of God, let me remind you of those in Scripture whose testimonies shout the loudest. There was a man called Jacob who had two wives, Rachel, his beloved, and then there was Leah the unwanted wife. Rahab was a prostitute. Ruth was a widow and a foreigner. Naomi lost everything, her husband and both her two sons. Mary was described as being demon-possessed, and the ‘Woman at the well’ was a husband snatcher. Their stories were so bad it would easily have gone viral if they were alive today. Yet, God turned their stories around. Now, watch Him do the same for you.
Let’s Pray:
– Heavenly Father, Hollowed be Your Name.
– Today, I choose to make the move into ‘New Beginnings’.
– I hear the Lord declaring, ‘Talitha Cumi’: My daughter, ‘Arise’.
– I hear the Lord saying, ‘Lazarus come out of your tomb’. Hence, I will not stay confined in this ‘dead man’s grave’. I am coming out, in Jesus’ Name.
– Today, I will arise better, not bitter.
– I will end my season victoriously and I will finish my course.
– I declare that God is my ‘Jehovah Shammah’: A very ‘Present Help’ in a time of need.
– God is my ‘Jehovah Roi’: The God who sees.
– God is my ‘Jehovah Shamar’: The One who ‘hedges me in’
– God is my ‘El Qanna’, God is jealous for me.
– God is my ‘Jehovah Gibbor’: He is the One who fights for me.
– Finally, God is my ‘El Chuwl’: He is the One who ‘gave birth’ to me. He owns my life.
Hallelujah. Saints of God, are you ready? ‘Let the Journey Begin’.
