WORD: ‘Refined To Be Better, Not Bitter’
Acts 12vs12-13 Day 13
The Lord does not want us to be afraid. Herodian structures are on the move to ‘vex’ (disturb; disrupt; trouble; and distress) the Church. The Lord has already warned us that ‘mountains’ will shift and ‘hills’ will move. Mountains in Scripture often points to Governments; Nations; Kingdoms; and People in high places. The Lord echoes the same message in Hebrews 12:26, ‘Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven… indicating the removal of ‘stuff’ that are unstable, so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain’. The Lord is also emphasising that He, God, will always remain the same, He is a steady, stable, and Faithful God. His Kindness will never depart from you. His ‘Covenant of Peace’ will never be removed.
When you passed through the waters, did God leave you? When you came through great rivers, did it overpower you? When you had to walk through scorching fires, did you get consumed? Did its flames damage you? The fire you ‘passed through’ was for your refining, not to make you bitter, but to make you better. Hallelujah.
Be encouraged by this Prophetic Word: There is a set up in the struggle (Is. 57:14); a message in the mess (1 Cor. 10:3); a testimony in the test (Rom. 8:28); a reason to the riot (Zec. 13:9); a method to the madness (Ps. 23:4); praise in the pressure (Job 1:20-22); and Christ in the crisis (Rom. 8:37). Know this: we shall emerge from our wilderness, no longer visualizing just desert land or dry fields, no longer viewing our journey from an outward perspective, but from a renewed heart. We will emerge ‘in the power of the Spirit’ (Luke 4:14), echoing the Words of Jesus: ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me’.
People of God, whom God anoints, them He also ‘qualifies’ to pray, listen, shift and open doors in the spirit realm. Deliverance, healing, and restoration is standing at the door. Do not stop praying until every chain is broken. In Jesus Name.
