Acts 12vs12-13 Day 5

Prophetic Word: Acts 12vs12-13 Day 5

Scripture informs us that the prayer warriors did not believe Rhoda’s good news, instead they ridiculed her, calling her mad. Nevertheless, Rhoda knew what she knew’, and constantly affirmed her message. People of God, some may think and say many things about you, but remember, In Mark 3:21, Jesus was also called a ‘madman’. Let us reflect on this for a moment, Jesus was not just a carrier of the ‘Good News’, He was the ‘Good News’. If they ridiculed Jesus, how much more you and me.

There are so many women in Scripture who lived their lives in obscurity. These women were unknown, insignificant, unidentified, and irrelevant: Until God showed up. Reading about the story of Rhoda, I’m reminded of ‘The Woman at the well’ in John 4:6-7. Both women stood at the juncture of a major turning point in their lives. One stood at the ‘well’, whilst the other is standing at the ‘door’ and both were in desperate need for something to change. Why was Rhoda alone at the door? What was she thinking? Perhaps she was tired of being at the bottom of the line, at the back of the queue, with no hope of an upward trajectory. Perhaps Peter’s Message was the only ‘Good News’ that gave her any form of hope. However, at this very moment, her only hope was in prison and by daybreak Herod’s plan was to have this ’hope’ executed.

People of God, today you too may be facing a ‘closed door’ situation. Like Jerico, the condition is tightly shut. There appears to be no going forward, and behind you the people are calling you ‘mad’. Be reminded that the Lord is your ‘Way-Maker’, He will ‘open doors for you that no one can shut’, (Revelation 3:7-8). You may be in a crippling financial situation, facing different types of doctors reports, backache, joint pain, headache, abdominal disorders, blood disease, organ malfunctions, undiagnosed sicknesses. Today, God is saying, ‘Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if you hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in and sup with you and you with Me’ (Revelation 3:20). So, do not shift position. Just stay at the door, keep listening for your breakthrough, it is about the start knocking. When it comes, remember you are ‘qualified to unlock that gate and open that door.’

Prophetic Prayer
– Today, we are coming out of obscurity. We are coming out of hiding. The shadows is not our portion. In Jesus’ Name.
– Father, You are rising me out of irrelevance, out anonymity, out of invisibility, out of insignificance, into a place of prominence. Hallelujah.
– Like Mephibosheth, You have searched for me and honoured me. Oh Lord, You have taken me from a place of brokenness, fear, shame, and disgrace: I am now seated at the King’s table. (2 Samuel 9:1-17)
– Today, I am acknowledged; I am accepted; I belong.
– I have the ‘keys to the Kingdom’ (Mathew 16:19), which gives me access to ‘gates and doors’. (Gal 3:29; Matt. 16:18; John 14:6; Rev. 4:1)
– I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. I am a ‘heir of God and Joint heir with Jesus Christ. Amen.
