Prayer

Thank you, Lord, for another day.   This is the day that the Lord hath made I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Father, how can we occupy and bear good fruit when we are not remorseful for the things, we are doing that is against thee.  Our reflection doesn’t portrait who and whose we say we are.

Help us to turn not only away from sinful action but thoughts as well. Fruit of repentance – Lord have mercy, not everyone is willing to repent whole heartedly.

Oh Jesus, we need to understand that like the Pharisees and Sadducees our religious rituals and spiritual pedigree is not enough to please You.

Father, You reminded us that You are the vine, and we are the branches, so help us with a repented heart because he who began a good work in us is more than able to bring it to completion.

You are going to prune us so that our wings can spread so that we become vessels of honour.

Father help us Lord to bear true fruit of repentance by showing a genuine heart.  A good tree will produce good fruit.
