DESCRIPTION:Dear Prayer Leaders,\nAs we prepare for a significant season of fasting and spiritual renewal, we align with the theme “The Year of the Open Door” from Revelation 3:8. With Passover (Pesach) fast approaching, this is a powerful time to focus on redemption, which is deeply connected to both the Passover story and the Open Door God is setting before His people.\nOur spiritual focus for the Passover Fast is REDEEM: “The Lord will Redeem the Lost.” Below are two key scripture verses to anchor this fast, along with seven weekly themes.\nLuke 19:10 (NIV) “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”\nIsaiah 43:1 (NIV) “But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.’”\nWhy these verses? As I prayed, the Lord reminded me that Jesus’ mission was to redeem those who were lost. As we fast, we align ourselves with His heart to restore and bring people back into His kingdom.\nThe scripture verses speak of God’s redemption:\n\nHe has already redeemed His people and calls them by name.\nThey reassure us that no one is too lost to be redeemed, aligning with the open door He has set before us (Revelation 3:8).\nRedemption is personal; God calls individuals by name and claims them as His own.\n\nThese verses tie beautifully into the theme of salvation, restoration, and divine invitations to our open door. 🚪\nSeven Week Fast Themes (commencing Sunday, 2nd March 2025 to 20th April 2025)\nWeek 1 – Consecration and Preparation • Setting ourselves apart for God, purifying our hearts, and preparing spiritually for the fast.\nWeek 2 – Praying for Our Leaders • Covering spiritual and governmental leaders in prayer so they may lead with wisdom and righteousness.\nWeek 3 – Restoration of Families • Interceding for family members who are lost, broken relationships, and generational restoration.\nWeek 4 – The Church’s Vision and Mission • Aligning with God’s purpose for the church and praying for the effectiveness of evangelism and discipleship.\nWeek 5 – Returning Prodigals • Praying for backsliders, those who have wandered from the faith, and those in need of a fresh encounter with God.\nWeek 6 – Nations and Communities • Standing in the gap for our cities, nations, and the lost, praying for revival and salvation.\nWeek 7 – Personal Renewal and Boldness in Evangelism • Asking for renewed passion, boldness, and fresh anointing to share the gospel and be a light in the world.\nI apologize for the short notice, but please send me your scripture verses by Friday, 28th February 2025.
